The French Palette collection
Piero Lissoni has been collaborating with Alpi for some time now. For the new collection of wooden surfaces, French Palette has focused on color, which moreover represents for Alpi a prolific field of experimentation through which it can evolve seamlessly; just think that the Romagna company has dared to go beyond the identity of wood by proposing new conceptual dimensions.
For this new line, as can be deduced from the name itself, Lissoni was inspired by the French painting of the eighteenth century , characterized by soft and delicate shades, but not devoid of brightness. Together with the components of the Alpi technical office, he measured and calibrated every single nuance, made several tests until the desired effect was obtained.
The new colors designed for Alpi explained Lissoni - they are very modern, but at the same time ancient. I treated the wood as if it were a fresco, we passed from the painting of the Enlightenment century and the French iconography of the seventeenth-eighteenth century, first I stopped to look at the paintings by Veronese and Titian. They are hieratic colors and at the same time they speak a great modernity.
The palette includes timeless colors and others less known, such as Teal Blue or Burgundy. a real chromatic path marked by refinement and impeccable balance.
