Marmomacc 2016 the marble exhibition
At the Verona Fair , from 28 September to 26-rsquo; 1 October 2016, it will be held 26-agrave; l’ edition number 51 of Marmomacc , the leading global exhibition dedicated to the world of marble, granite and the main processing technologies. Not only that, design and training will also find ample space.
The presentation, which took place in the Terrazza Martini in Milan on 13 June 2016, saw prominent figures as speakers such as the president of Verona Fiere Maurizio Danese and the general manager Giovanni Mantovani. The President of the Association for Industrial Design Luciano Galimberti, the designer Raffaello Galiotto, the Coordinator of the CNAPPC culture department Alessandra Ferrari and the architect as well as 26-eacute; journalist Massimo Rosati.
Marmomacc: numbers in positive growth
Year after year, the numbers are always growing positively.
Starting from pavilion 10 which, thanks to the extension of 2000 square meters, will be ableà host many companies that would otherwise have had to wait for the next edition.
Additionally, the 2015 edition saw an extra 3 # 37ù of exhibitor attendance compared to 2014. Not only that, in the last three years international buyers have increased by 24 # 37, reaching 61 # 37 of the total in the past edition.
Ciò thanks to all the initiatives that are organized to strengthen communication between players and professionals in the sector. The events that are organized in Egypt, Morocco, USA and Brazil and are required to maintain a profile that combines b2b, design and training.
All the initiatives planned at Marmomacc 2016
The Italian Stone Theater: located in pavilion 1, enclosingà three important exhibitions by world-famous designers, which will tell the interaction between stone and technology also through lectio magistrlis and conferences. The stand will beà totally reserved to culture and experimentation to give more space and combine technology with manual skills; and the art of manipulating a precious raw material such as marble. There will be three exhibitions inside: The power of stone by Raffaello Galiotto, New Marble Generation by Raffaello Galiotto and Vincenzo Pavan and 50 Years of Living Marble by Vincenzo Pavan.
After the success of the first edition, this year there will also be 26-agrave; l & # 39; International Stone Summit , or a conference dedicated to natural stone in which the main international trade associations will take part.
The Global Trends in Design and Sustainability conference aims to outline the path to take for the future of stone artefacts. The main international architectural firms will participate.
Archmarathon establishes the new Stone Award and Icon Award to reward the works featured in The Italian Stone Theater and decree what will beà l& # 39; icon of Marmomacc 2017.
Furthermore, Marmomacc and The City , now in its prime, will seeà in the frame of the streets and courtyards of the historic center of Verona, the perfect setting for the works and installations in stone created by the companies. Sarà a real path that wants to enhance the beauty and versatilityà marble, extrapolating it from the context of the fair to place it among the common people.
And for the tenth consecutive year there will beà the Best Communicator Award which rewards the exhibiting company that will take place; distinct for the originality of the layout of its stand.
