Pelma was founded in Bassano Bresciano in 1962. Over the years, the company has aimed for a modern and dynamic image, making its name synonymous with quality and reliability. Within the company, the production methodology has been implemented through the use of an innovative foaming method: VPF (Variable Pressure Foaming). Pelma is the only company in Italy to use this new technology, which provides numerous advantages during the production process, such as higher quality and constant verification of the characteristics of the finished product.

After carrying out a work based on listening and research, practical tests and laboratory tests, with the collaboration of the most important raw material suppliers and specialized organizations, the Pelma Research and Development Laboratory has selected a range of products, both conventional and special, that fully cover the demands of this market, fully meeting its growing needs in terms of ergonomics, comfort, health, and hygiene. Like all Pelma polyurethanes, these products are also produced with absolute respect for humans and the environment: they are eco-friendly, free of toxic substances, hypoallergenic, and can be antibacterial, antifungal, and fire-resistant.
